Alfa Dewi Setiawati
Alfa has worked in banking, corporate finance and restructuring work. In addition, she works extensively on mining, oil and gas and infrastructure transactions.
In the mining sector, she represents several early-generation mining companies in the renegotiation of Coal Contracts of Work with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. She also advises clients on legal issues in tax matters, mining services, and shipping business.
Alfa graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). Alfa speaks conversational Japanese.
Gabriella Ticoalu (Gaby) advises clients on a wide range of transactions and financings, particularly in coal and mineral mining, processing, and related infrastructure, ports, roads, and electricity. She is closely involved in renegotiating the terms of Contracts of Work and Coal Contracts of Work between foreign investors and the Government of Indonesia.
Gaby graduated from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Merari is our go to lawyer for all aspects of capital investment. She advises foreign and domestic clients on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital structure, insurance and labor laws. She has particularly valuable experience dealing with the Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the Ministry of Trade.
Over the years, involved in a number of complex transactions, in various sectors including industry and services, banking and mining. She also assists international non-governmental organizations with registration and legal compliance.
Merari graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree). She obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Adv.) in International Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Leiden, Netherlands. Merari was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Adit specializes in the M&A, general corporate and projects sectors. Prior to joining AKSET, he was involved in several transactions namely an acquisition of a 2GW coal-powered power plant as well as land acquisitions for a Singaporean downstream oil and gas company.
He was seconded to the Singapore office of his previous law firm before joining AKSET in 2017. Adit graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He speaks English and Indonesian.
Ahmad Radinal (Radinal) specializes in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, with extensive experience in dispute resolution matters including civil litigation and arbitration. Recently, he represents clients from labor and land dispute. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
Radinal graduated from Universitas Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Alkira (Alki) specializes in the project and energy sector, with extensive experience in infrastructure, construction, land and real estate, and mining. He does also considerable work on foreign investment.
Alki graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree) with a specialty in Business and Commercial Law. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Adv.) in International Civil and Commercial Law at Leiden University, the Netherlands. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Anissa has assisted several corporate transactions in AKSET, with emphasis on in-bound capital investments. Recently, Anissa has been instrumental in advising clients on labor and employment matters.
Anissa graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree), where she was the Vice Director of Affairs for the Asian Law Students’ Association (ALSA).
Aruni has developed a keen interest in energy and infrastructure sectors. She involved in general corporate transactions, working on compliance matters for clients ranging from mining, electricity, transportation, and telecommunication sectors. She participated in a number of acquisitions of mining companies.
Aruni just returned from her leave after obtaining Masters of Public Policy from the University of Tokyo, and spent her winter break working in a notable Japanese law firm during her study years. She previously graduated from the University of Indonesia, majoring in Transnational Law as her bachelor degree. She speaks Indonesian, English, and casual Japanese.
Audreyna Indriani (Audrey) has been involved in infrastructure projects, capital investments and corporate transactions such as restructuring projects. She advises clients (including foreign investors) on capital investments and licensing procedures in Indonesia.
Audrey graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree). She had interned with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia prior to her graduation. Audrey was with another law firm before joining AKSET.
Dicky handles various M&A transactions involving oil palm plantations, mineral water companies, a shipping enterprise, and an oil & gas transportation company.
Before joining AKSET, he was with another law firm and did a series of transactions. He also advises clients on legal issues on capital investment and anti-trust.
Dicky graduated from University Pelita Harapan (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Filza has handled general corporate matters and capital market transactions, including initial public offerings and right issuances. In sector-based industries, she has been involved in the acquisition process of plantations.
Filza graduated cum laude from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). Prior to joining AKSET, she was with another law firm.
M. Naufal Fileindi
Naufal regularly advises clients in plantation and agricultural issues, of which he has acquired extensive knowledge along with close government connections in the sector. He also advises clients on land and foreign capital investment matters.
Naufal graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree), and was honored as the “Most Outstanding Student” by the faculty.
Michael has assisted in several transactions, including due diligence for change of operator of the Mahakam oil and gas field, offshore syndication financing of Indonesian borrowers, and due diligence of a cross-border private equity acquisition.
Michael graduated from Padjadjaran University (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was seconded to the Singapore office of his previous law firm before joining AKSET as an associate. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Noor Muhammad Aziz
Aziz joined AKSET in 2016. Since joining AKSET, he has handled general corporate matters with heavy exposure to information technology and telecommunications, as well as employment matters and dispute resolution. He has passed the bar exam set by the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi) and he is currently waiting to be called to the bar as an advocate.
Nurana Sekar Lestari
Nurana Lestari (Sekar) has been involved in various merger and acquisition, foreign investment, general corporate and tax projects. She is also developing a keen interest in banking and financing.
Sekar first joined AKSET in 2013 as an intern and rejoined the firm in 2014 as an associate. She graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree), as the second best graduate in her class.
Prihandana Suko Prasetyo Adi
Prihandana specialises in information and communication technology (ICT) law, and he also renders advice in matters related to competition law. Insurance and telecommunication associated issues are further strong fields of his core.
Prihandana co-wrote the Indonesian chapters of the 2010 Technology, Media and Telecommunications Review and the 2014 Getting the Deal Through (GTDT) on Insurance and Reinsurance. Also, he has a pro-bono research project on competition in the Indonesian telecommunications sector and is involved in preparing an investor’s guide to investing in Indonesia’s infrastructure business.
Prihandana graduated in law from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). In 2017, he earned LL.M in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary, University of London. He completed his dissertation with distinction.
Before joining AKSET, Prihandana worked for another law firm in Jakarta.
Radiansyah Suryomahendra Yamin
Radiansyah (Ian) is involved in a variety of general corporate matters, foreign investment, and compliance for clients, particularly in the plantation agriculture section. He has strong interests in telecommunications and information technology.
Ian joined AKSET in 2017 after graduating from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He speaks English and Indonesian.
Raja S.G.D. Notonegoro
Raja joined AKSET in 2016 after completing his master’s degree in transnational law. Since joining AKSET, he has been involved in M&A, capital restructuring and general corporate matters. He has developed a keen interest in foreign capital investment, international trade and financial technology.
Raja graduated cum laude from the University of Indonesia in both his bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. He was the youngest graduate and one of the top graduates in both degree classes. He is fluent in English and Indonesian.
Rudi B. Rifai
Rudi’s main practice areas are mining, energy, forestry and land. He also does considerable work on foreign investment and general corporate practice. He advises clients in all aspects of mining, from the exploration stage through operations, and has extensive experience dealing with complex issues of environment, forestry and overlapping land issues.
Rudi graduated from Brawijaya University (Sarjana Hukum degree) and holds a Magister of Law degree (LL.M) from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy at the University of Dundee, where his research focused on liberalization of the Indonesian electricity sector. Rudi spent some time with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Saiful Tenaya (Saiful) has been involved in a variety of commercial disputes. Saiful represents Indonesian and foreign clients in dispute resolution matters including mediation, civil litigation, bankruptcy and suspension of debt repayment obligation with number of sizeable claims. He also has invested his interest in labor matters as well as financial technology matters. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
Saiful graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Tara Krizia Dodds
Tara joined AKSET in 2015. She handles general corporate of capital investment matters and infrastructure projects (such as ports and terinals).
Tara graduated cum laude from Universitas Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). She has spent a semester abroad in Leiden University, Netherlands as an exchange student.
Tara Priscilla Ogilvie
Tara is fast becoming a core member of AKSET’s IPP and Projects team. She has strong interests in foreign investment, corporate, licensing and operational matters.
Tara graduated cum laude from University of Indonesia in three and a half years, (Sarjana Hukum degree). During that time, she spent a semester abroad at Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Thalia has advised clients in various foreign investment, general corporate and licensing matters. She has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions and is developing a strong interest in the field of microfinance and financial technology.
Thalia joined AKSET in 2016 after working in another firm. She graduated in 2015 from the University of Indonesia, majoring in Business Law. She speaks English and Indonesian.
Thomas Peter Wijaya
Thomas has been involved in various general corporate, foreign investment, mergers & acquisitions and infrastructure projects.
He has advised investors in acquisitions of a plantation company and an oil and gas company. He also advises international clients on the legal framework of construction services in Indonesia.
Thomas joined AKSET after graduating cum laude from Gadjah Mada University (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Yohanes Brilianto Hadi
Yohanes Brilianto Hadi (Brili) has been involved in certain projects of capital market, project-financing, and M&A transactions of companies with various business sectors such as plantation, multi-finance, bank, investment, and food industries.
Brili assists and represents companies in their capital market transactions such as rights issue, bonds issuance, M&A, and material transactions. He also has represented clients in financing from offshore parties, in bilateral loan agreements and syndicated loan agreements.
Brili graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Yosef’s main practice areas are banking and financial services, infrastructure, and dispute resolution, but he does also considerable work on mining and foreign investment.
Yosef is one of the authors of the Indonesian chapter of Getting the Deal Through – Insurance and Reinsurance 2014 and is particularly interested in the rapidly evolving legal framework regulating non-bank financial sectors in Indonesia.
Yosef joined AKSET after completing his Master of Laws in American Legal Studies at Hofstra University in New York. He graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree).
