Alfa Dewi Setiawati
Alfa has worked in banking, corporate finance and restructuring work. In addition, she works extensively on mining, oil and gas and infrastructure transactions.
In the mining sector, she represents several early-generation mining companies in the renegotiation of Coal Contracts of Work with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. She also advises clients on legal issues in tax matters, mining services, and shipping business.
Alfa graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). Alfa speaks conversational Japanese.
Gabriella Ticoalu (Gaby) advises clients on a wide range of transactions and financings, particularly in coal and mineral mining, processing, and related infrastructure, ports, roads, and electricity. She is closely involved in renegotiating the terms of Contracts of Work and Coal Contracts of Work between foreign investors and the Government of Indonesia.
Gaby graduated from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Merari is our go to lawyer for all aspects of capital investment. She advises foreign and domestic clients on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital structure, insurance and labor laws. She has particularly valuable experience dealing with the Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the Ministry of Trade.
Over the years, involved in a number of complex transactions, in various sectors including industry and services, banking and mining. She also assists international non-governmental organizations with registration and legal compliance.
Merari graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree). She obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Adv.) in International Civil and Commercial Law at the University of Leiden, Netherlands. Merari was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Raden Suharsanto Raharjo
Suharsanto is our litigation lawyer and specializing in commercial dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in manpower dispute, state administrative dispute, arbitration, bankruptcy case, competition case, intellectual property dispute, as well as corporate crime and internal investigation. He represents clients from various industry sectors such as mining, oil and gas, energy, pharmaceutical, and fast-moving-consumer-good companies.
Prior to joining Akset, Suharsanto has worked with another lawfirms in Jakarta where he has experienced working with multinational clients – as well as the opportunity working at a multinational law firm in Singapore. He also once worked for the Komisi Pemeberantasan Korupsi (Corruption Eradication Commission) in his early career.
Suharsanto graduated from Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia in 2007. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
Abdillah S. Tadjoedin
Abdillah has been involved in various banking, financial services, mobile payments, foreign investment, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Akset, Abdillah worked as Legal Advisor at Bank Indonesia where he was involved in matters related to Bank Indonesia’s monetary, payment system, macroprudential, and currency management policies. During his time at Bank Indonesia, Abdillah also represented Bank Indonesia as member of the Indonesian Delegation at numerous international economic arrangements.
Abdillah graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia, where he was active in the Student Executive Body and Asian Law Students Association. In 2011, he earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Adv.) in European and international business law at the University of Leiden, Netherlands.
Prihandana Suko Prasetyo Adi
Prihandana specialises in information and communication technology (ICT) law, and he also renders advice in matters related to competition law. Insurance and telecommunication associated issues are further strong fields of his core.
Prihandana co-wrote the Indonesian chapters of the 2010 Technology, Media and Telecommunications Review and the 2014 Getting the Deal Through (GTDT) on Insurance and Reinsurance. Also, he has a pro-bono research project on competition in the Indonesian telecommunications sector and is involved in preparing an investor’s guide to investing in Indonesia’s infrastructure business.
Prihandana graduated in law from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). In 2017, he earned LL.M in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary, University of London. He completed his dissertation with distinction.
Before joining AKSET, Prihandana worked for another law firm in Jakarta.
Richie is a Senior Associate of AKSET. He is our infrastructure project and project finance attorney, and specializes in project developments, banking, and finance. He has extensive experience in advising on and executing local and cross-border banking and syndicated finance transactions.
He has been involved in infrastructure projects as well as advisory work on regulatory framework for such projects.
Prior to joining AKSET, Richie was a Senior Associate of another law firm. Prior to that, he had been with a prominent joint venture bank in Jakarta.
During his early career, he advised wide range of clients from governmental authorities, state-owned enterprises to private entities including financial institutions and banks.
Richie graduated from Faculty of Law at the University of Padjajaran in 2008. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
Adit specializes in the M&A, general corporate and projects sectors. Prior to joining AKSET, he was involved in several transactions namely an acquisition of a 2GW coal-powered power plant as well as land acquisitions for a Singaporean downstream oil and gas company.
He was seconded to the Singapore office of his previous law firm before joining AKSET in 2017. Adit graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He speaks English and Indonesian.
Agata Jacqueline Paramesvari
Jacqueline joined AKSET in 2018. Her areas of practice include general corporate and financial technology. Prior to joining AKSET she had extensive international experience, including at the United Nations Secretariat in New York.
Jacqueline obtained her Sarjana Hukum from Universitas Indonesia in 2013 and her LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2017.
Jacqueline is admitted in New York and has passed the Indonesian Advocate Association (PERADI) Bar Examination. She is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Portuguese.
Ahmad Radinal (Radinal) specializes in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, with extensive experience in dispute resolution matters including civil litigation and arbitration. Recently, he represents clients from labor and land dispute. He is a licensed Advocate and a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI).
Radinal graduated from Universitas Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
Alkira (Alki) specializes in the project and energy sector, with extensive experience in infrastructure, construction, land and real estate, and mining. He does also considerable work on foreign investment.
Alki graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree) with a specialty in Business and Commercial Law. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M.) (Adv.) in International Civil and Commercial Law at Leiden University, the Netherlands. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Audreyna Indriani (Audrey) has been involved in infrastructure projects, capital investments and corporate transactions such as restructuring projects. She advises clients (including foreign investors) on capital investments and licensing procedures in Indonesia.
Audrey graduated from Atma Jaya Catholic University (Sarjana Hukum degree). She had interned with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia prior to her graduation. Audrey was with another law firm before joining AKSET.
Kristin joined AKSET in 2018. Prior to joining AKSET, she was involved in several fin-tech start ups. She has developed strong interest in financial technology industry–as well as general corporate, foreign investment and international trade.
She completed her law undergraduate program at University of Indonesia. She gained an award as Best Paper Presenter during her participation in International Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities 2018.
Dicky handles various M&A transactions involving oil palm plantations, mineral water companies, a shipping enterprise, and an oil & gas transportation company.
Before joining AKSET, he was with another law firm and did a series of transactions. He also advises clients on legal issues on capital investment and anti-trust.
Dicky graduated from University Pelita Harapan (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Filza has handled general corporate matters and capital market transactions, including initial public offerings and right issuances. In sector-based industries, she has been involved in the acquisition process of plantations.
Filza graduated cum laude from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). Prior to joining AKSET, she was with another law firm.
Giovanni Yogi Tanzil
Gio joined AKSET in 2018. He has been involved in various general corporate and financing matters. He has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions including due diligence of a major insurance acquisition.
Gio graduated from the University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). Prior to joining AKSET, he was an Associate of another law firm. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Glenn joined AKSET in 2018. His areas of practice include general corporate, financial technology and banking.
Glenn obtained his LL.B. in International and European Law from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands in 2013. During his studies, he spent a semester at the University of Warsaw, Poland. In addition, he received his Sarjana Hukum degree with magna cum laude honors from Universitas Pelita Harapan as the valedictorian of the 2018 cohort. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Michael has assisted in several transactions, including due diligence for change of operator of the Mahakam oil and gas field, offshore syndication financing of Indonesian borrowers, and due diligence of a cross-border private equity acquisition.
Michael graduated from Padjadjaran University (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was seconded to the Singapore office of his previous law firm before joining AKSET as an associate. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Noor Muhammad Aziz
Aziz joined AKSET in 2016. Since joining AKSET, he has handled general corporate matters with heavy exposure to information technology and telecommunications, as well as employment matters and dispute resolution. He has passed the bar exam set by the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi) and he is currently waiting to be called to the bar as an advocate.
Nurana Sekar Lestari
Nurana Lestari (Sekar) has been involved in various merger and acquisition, foreign investment, general corporate and tax projects. She is also developing a keen interest in banking and financing.
Sekar first joined AKSET in 2013 as an intern and rejoined the firm in 2014 as an associate. She graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree), as the second best graduate in her class.
Radiansyah Suryomahendra Yamin
Radiansyah (Ian) is involved in a variety of general corporate matters, foreign investment, and compliance for clients, particularly in the plantation agriculture section. He has strong interests in telecommunications and information technology.
Ian joined AKSET in 2017 after graduating from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He speaks English and Indonesian.
Rama Putra Sahetapy
Rama joined AKSET in 2018.
Rama graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in three and a half years, (Sarjana Hukum degree), and finished his post-graduate program from University of Indonesia in early 2018 majoring in Notarial Law (Magister of Notarial Law degree).
Rama does general corporate, real estate and property work. He speaks English and Indonesian.
Tara Priscilla Ogilvie
Tara is fast becoming a core member of AKSET’s IPP and Projects team. She has strong interests in foreign investment, corporate, licensing and operational matters.
Tara graduated cum laude from University of Indonesia in three and a half years, (Sarjana Hukum degree). During that time, she spent a semester abroad at Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Tengku Aniska Sabila
Billa joined AKSET in 2018 as an intern and was made an associate shortly afterwards. She has developed strong interest in M&A, general corporate, forestry and property.
She graduated from Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) in 2018 which she earned in only three academic years. As a student, she represented UPH in WTO Law Moot Court Competition. Billa also served as a member of the Law Faculty Senate. During her studies, she also took a Law Summer Class at Oriel College, Oxford University.
Thalia has advised clients in various foreign investment, general corporate and licensing matters. She has also been involved in mergers and acquisitions and is developing a strong interest in the field of microfinance and financial technology.
Thalia joined AKSET in 2016 after working in another firm. She graduated in 2015 from the University of Indonesia, majoring in Business Law. She speaks English and Indonesian.
Thomas Peter Wijaya
Thomas has been involved in various general corporate, foreign investment, mergers & acquisitions and infrastructure projects.
He has advised investors in acquisitions of a plantation company and an oil and gas company. He also advises international clients on the legal framework of construction services in Indonesia.
Thomas joined AKSET after graduating cum laude from Gadjah Mada University (Sarjana Hukum degree).
Yohanes Brilianto Hadi
Yohanes Brilianto Hadi (Brili) has been involved in certain projects of capital market, project-financing, and M&A transactions of companies with various business sectors such as plantation, multi-finance, bank, investment, and food industries.
Brili assists and represents companies in their capital market transactions such as rights issue, bonds issuance, M&A, and material transactions. He also has represented clients in financing from offshore parties, in bilateral loan agreements and syndicated loan agreements.
Brili graduated from University of Indonesia (Sarjana Hukum degree). He was with another law firm prior to joining AKSET.
